Already three months since the first lockdown was imposed not only in India but the world over which did impact our routine lives. Thanks to technology we adapted ourselves to new norms like work from home and home doorstep deliveries by ordering online. We are delighted to note that many of our valued consumers have already used our online services and the L’Opéra team delivered the same taking utmost hygienic precautions.
As restrictions are slowly being lifted across India, L’Opéra continues to endeavour for the safety of both its employees and you, our dear patrons.
In our previous newsletter of April 2020 you were informed of our reduced product range via online orders. We are delighted to inform you of the availability of our entire range of L’Opéra delicacies that can, of course, be ordered online or purchased from any of our six outlets listed below that have re-started operations.

In accordance with local authorities’ guidelines, all customers entering the outlets have their temperature checked and a limited number of customers can be welcomed inside at the same time. L’Opéra staff wears the appropriate protective gear and ensures each outlet is thoroughly sanitised.

All L’Opéra staff working at the Production Facility as well as at outlets and handling L’Opéra products are trained about the COVID-19 pandemic and its prevention (i.e.: following high standards of personal and collective hygiene, cleaning and sanitisation of the production tools and facility and following social distancing rules).

This has been one of L’Opéra’s constant endeavors for the past 10 years.

The whole L’Opéra team has been grieving the loss of Mr. Mohan Vijaya Kumar who passed away on Saturday 13thJune 2020 due to a sudden and unexpected cardiac arrest whilst enjoying good health. He was one of the Directors of L’Opéra, a loyal and dedicated employee who gave his all to the company since 2012. He was the first to assist colleagues in need or facing difficulties and was always present on first call. Mr. Kumar was deeply engaged in the service of humanity, of the community and of the senior citizens of his neighbourhood, committed to his ideal of establishing the unity of mankind.
Our prayers go to Mr. Kumar’s family and friends who face these particularly difficult times. His dedication and warmth will always be remembered.

As the mango season is here, our Mango and Pineapple tart is the perfect seasonal delicacy to relish the so-called king of fruits. It is perfect as a light meal, a snack or to share. It is available as an individual tart or a larger one (4-6 pax).
